Sheila Jackson-Lee .... The GREEN MONSTER Attack (vanity)

Noticed that ugly Sheila Jackson-Lee (H-U-G-E version of Cynthia McKinny) got her usual place by the aisle (probaby trampled over a dozen people, punched some out, stomped toes, kicked them in the b@lls and left bloody bodies laying on the floor) so she could be seen talking like long time buddies to the POS. Wearing that bright outfit, she looked like a GIANT GREEN PUMPKIN.

Alan Colmes is a heartless monster

I don't see how one could come to any other conclusion when reading this piece from Mediaite about a confrontation between NRO's Rich Lowrey and the liberal pundit. The imbroglio erupted when Colmes said that Iowans would get off the Santorum bandwagon once they discovered some of the "crazy things" he's said and done. The segment was pegged to Santorum's polling surge in Iowa, which Colmes argued wouldn't last "once they get a load of some of the crazy things he's said and done, like taking his two-hour-old baby who died after childbirth and played with it

Scientists find monster black holes, biggest yet (10 billion times the size of our sun)

CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. (AP) — Scientists have found the biggest black holes known to exist — each one 10 billion times the size of our sun. A team led by an astronomer at the University of California at Berkeley discovered the two gigantic black holes in clusters of galaxies 300 million light years away. That's relatively close on the galactic scale.

Villagers Pull 1-Ton Crocodile Out of Creek in Philippines (crikey!)

Villagers Pull One-Ton Crocodile Out of Creek in Philippines Published September 05, 2011 AP MANILA, Philippines -- Villagers and veteran hunters have captured a one-ton saltwater crocodile which they plan to make the star of a planned ecotourism park in a southern Philippine town, an official said Monday. Mayor Edwin Cox Elorde said dozens of villagers and experts ensnared the 21-foot male crocodile along a creek in Bunawan township in Agusan del Sur province after a three-week hunt. It could be one of the largest crocodiles to be captured alive in recent years, he said, quoting local crocodile experts. Elorde...

Green monster - Dangerous giant weed on the loose

It's got beautiful flowers as big as umbrellas -- and sap that causes blindness and third-degree burns -- and it could be coming soon to a city park near you. Giant Hogweed, a monster plant that looks like Queen Anne's Lace -- but is more akin to the man-eating-plant Audrey II from "Little Shop of Horrors" -- is spreading in New York state, with dozens more confirmed sightings since last year, experts said yesterday. The botanical beast is so rampant that the state Department of Environmental Conservation has even set up a special Giant Hogweed Hotline -- and ordered a...

Uncle gets 25 years for murder of 2-year-old

SANTA ANA, Calif. (KABC) -- A Cypress man was sentenced on Tuesday to 25 years to life in prison after being convicted in the murder of his 2-year-old niece. Michael David Balderas, 33, did not make a statement before Judge William Froeberg handed down his punishment. He was found guilty of second-degree murder and child assault causing death on Jan. 25. Authorities say Balderas had received custody his niece, identified as Baby Jo Jade, because his sister was preparing to serve a federal prison sentence. Balderas physically abused the child between January and March of 2006, prosecutors said. Jo Jade...

Video case reflects generations' great divide (musician faces 20 year sentence for youtube prank)

Regardless of whether a judge or jury finds Evan Emory guilty of a sex offense for creating a lewd video with schoolchildren in the background, the case has highlighted a cultural divide between the so-called Millennial Generation and pretty much everyone else. Many of the Millennials — mostly young adults without children — wonder what all the fuss is about. So Emory made a video with Ravenna elementary children in the background looking surprised and smiling a lot. They say since Emory sang a harmless “Lunch Lady Land” song to the children during his actual performance and subbed in lyrics...

Classic Monster Politics

What do Bela Lugosi, Boris Karloff, Lon Chaney and Lon Chaney Jr. have in common? They are forever known as the faces of the classic monsters Dracula, Frankenstein’s monster, Phantom of the Opera, and the Wolf Man. Whether you were frightened by these classic representations or the continual evolutionary adaptations that have followed, we all know these monsters when we see them and we all do the same thing when they are thrust into our faces: we take a big step back.

JP: Monster tuna caught has turned heads

A monster tuna caught off Japan has turned heads at a Tokyo fish market, where the 445 kilogram (981 pound) bluefin -- the biggest caught here since 1986 -- sold for 3.2 million yen (36,700 dollars). Decades of overfishing have seen global tuna stocks crash, pushing some Western nations to call for a trade ban on endangered Atlantic bluefin tuna. (AFP/Jiji Press)

Soros instigating a coup?

IN my mail this morning, from Kitty: Notice the pub date of Sept 2009. I could pull-quote this whole thing, but I had to stop. Fascinatingly frightening view of what we face. And his plan was laid bare for all to see! Jim O'Neill does give some advice of how to right this, but you'll have to read it yourself. I'm the world's slowest reader yet I zipped through in no time. Soros: Republic Enemy #1 By Jim O'Neill Tuesday, September 15, 2009 Soros is a real life version of Dr. Evil—with Obama in the role of Mini-Me. Which is...

Giant Ocean Monster caught on the BP oil spill camera

We continue to hold BP responsible as the responsible party. But we are on them, watching them! This is how Homeland Security Secretary Janet Napolitano described the federal involvement in cleaning the oil spill disaster in the Gulf of Mexico today. No kidding! The Obama administration is doing exactly this: watching BP from the sidelines. In fact we are all watching. There is a camera next to the crack in the pipe and we all are watching live deadly oil gushing into the ocean. As a teen I used to look for the Loch Ness monster on the live...

World's Largest Airship Inflated to Create Monster 'Stratellite'

A huge inflatable vehicle as long as a 23-floor skyscraper is tall has become the world's largest airship in its bid to serve as a stratospheric satellite, or "stratellite," according to its developers. The 235-foot (72 m) long airship, known as the Bullet 580, has a top speed of 80 mph (129 km/h) and can serve as a high-flying sentinel that stays aloft for long periods of time. Getting the new sky behemoth inflated required six hours inside Garrett Coliseum in Montgomery, Ala. "Our airships are radically different designs that move beyond the performance limitations of traditional blimps or zeppelins...
